Manchebo Beach is located
on the western coast of Aruba close to Oranjestad.
Manchebo’s beachfront is
lined with several small hotels and is Aruba's largest beach and one of the
island's only topless beaches. A wide stretch of white sand leads down to the
choppy ocean and the area is peaceful and tranquil.
The water here is too
rough for water sports, but that just means fewer crowds, less noise, and more
relaxation. It’s the perfect spot for holidaymakers seeking a quiet retreat.
The whole of Aruba enjoys an average temperature
of 28°C. The island is made pleasantly cool throughout the year by constant
trade winds. Short showers occur during the months of October, November
and December.
The average monthly temperatures are:

Manchebo Beach offers
limited shopping opportunities. The only on site shops are the mini marts and
gift shops located in the hotels.
If you are looking for a
more substantial retail therapy opportunity you will need to travel to nearby
Oranjestad. Here there are several shopping centres such as The Royal Mall
Plaza, Seaport Village Mall, Seaport Marketplace and the Main Street area where
you will be able to buy all manner of goods from clothing and leather goods to
jewellery and locally made crafts.
Other than the
entertainment laid on by your hotel, there are few other choices at Manchebo
Beach. If you want to experience a wider variety of nightlife options you can
always join the Party Bus or try one of these venues in nearby resorts.
Being a relatively small
island, most of Aruba’s attractions are within easy reach no matter where you
are staying. Below is a selection of some of the islands attractions that you
might like to try during your stay.
The tap water is safe to
drink on Aruba. Medical facilities are good but you
are strongly advised to ensure you have full health insurance in place before
travelling. Although Aruba is considered a safe place to visit,
use common sense for personal safety and secure your belongings.
