Seaside views, spas, and sights like Taba Beach - discover it all in Taba.
Taba is situated in one of
the most breathtaking spots on the Sinai Peninsula. It lies on the border of
Israel and Egypt and is surrounded by picturesque crimson mountains and stunning
blue seas.
Taba is one of the newer
holiday destinations on the Red Sea Riviera. Its sandy shoreline is perfect for
a relaxing beach holiday. A strategic location at the tip of the Gulf of Aqaba
makes Taba the ideal starting point for excursions into the unique Sinai inland
and its canyons or the magnificent towns of Petra in Jordan and Jerusalem in
Israel.
Throughout the year, the weather in Taba
is consistently warm or hot sunshine with clear skies and very welcome cool
breezes bringing much needed relief from the heat.

There are a few shops well worth a
visit for gifts, snorkelling and beach equipment, but overall Taba doesn't
offer much of a shopping experience.
Taba does not offer a lot of
entertainment but offers a 24-hour casino as well as nightly programmes
featuring local talents and performances, such as Nubian Troupes and the
Bedouin experience.
The Sinai Desert invites exploration
whether on quad bikes or jeeps, or for a more tranquil journey, on a camel or
on horseback. For golfers there is a championship course which has views over
three countries.
As with most resorts in
Egypt you are advised not to drink the tap water, use only bottled mineral water
even when cleaning your teeth. You should also avoid eating fruit and
vegetables that are unwashed, unpeeled or from stalls in the street.
